Ann Hughes, M.D.
Ann Hughes earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont, Burlington, in 1975, followed by an M.D. from Albany Medical College. She then completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Montefiore Medical Center (Bronx, NY) and a Diagnostic Imaging Residency and Imaging Fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Dr. Hughes also holds an M.B.A. with a healthcare concentration from Monmouth University.
Dr. Hughes is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Her professional society affiliations include the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of New Jersey. She has served as President of the Monmouth County Medical Society and Co-Chair of the Medical Society of New Jersey’sCommittee on Public Health, and has published research in the Journal of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Currently, Dr. Hughes serves in a hospital appointment at CentraState Medical Center as Director of Mammography and Stereotactic Breast Biopsy.
