Mary K. Hammell, M.D.
Mary K. Hammell, M.D. graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University in 2001. She earned her medical degree from the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine, in 2006, where she was nominated to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Hammell completed her internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, where she was awarded Intern of the Year. She was a resident in diagnostic radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, also in Philadelphia. She was selected as Chief Resident in 2010. Dr. Hammell completed a fellowship in pediatric radiology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in June 2012. She is the author of multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and a co-author of a textbook entitled Netter’s Correlative Imaging: Abdominal and Pelvic Anatomy.
Dr. Hammell is a member of several medical societies and professional organizations including the American Medical Association, Society of Pediatric Radiology, and American Roentgen Ray Society.
