Health Screenings

Health Screening exams are studies performed in order to detect disease before signs or symptoms develop. For many illnesses, early detection and treatment may slow disease progression, improve overall outcome, and increase the chance of a cure. When disease is detected at an early stage, treatment options may be less costly and less invasive. Most insurance companies, however, do not cover the cost of these beneficial screening procedures. Princeton Radiology presently offers Lung Cancer Screening and Cardiac Calcium Scoring, available with a physician’s referral.

Consideration of one of these potentially valuable examinations should be discussed with your physician.
